PUBLIC NOTICE

NOTICE OF PUBLIC
HEARING

In accordance with Section 11 of Act No. 82-693 of the Legislature of Alabama, as amended, the Shelby County Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, April 20, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the 2nd Floor Community Room of the Shelby County Services Building, 1123 County Services Drive, Pelham, AL 35124, for the purpose of taking action on the following case:

V26-001 – Shoal Creek Lot 108 – Front Yard Variance

This is a request from Blake Baxter, RYS Real Estate Investments, LLC, property owner, for approval to reduce the required front yard setback from 100 feet to 79 feet on Lot 108, for a variance of 21 feet, to construct a single-family home. The subject property is zoned E-1 SD Single-Family Estate Special District and located at 5 Dogwood Forest in the Shoal Creek residential subdivision. (Parcel ID 58-03-7-26-0-000-045.000)

All persons shall have an opportunity to speak in support of or in opposition to this case.
