NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

In accordance with Section 11 of Act No. 82-693 of the Legislature of Alabama, as amended, the Shelby County Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, May 18, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the 2nd Floor Community Room of the Shelby County Services Building, 1123 County Services Drive, Pelham, AL 35124, for the purpose of taking action on the following case:

Z26-002 – Osborne Rezoning H-Z to E-2

This is a request from Troy and Melissa Osborne, property owners, for approval of a change in the zone district boundary of approximately 0.78 acres from H-Z Holding Zone District to E-2 Single-Family Estate District to provide a better building envelope for the development of a residential home. The subject property is located at 86 Hargis Drive approximately 450 feet north of Old Highway 280. (Parcel IDs 58-09-6-24-0-001-009.005)

All persons shall have an opportunity to speak in support of or in opposition to this case.
