PUBLIC NOTICE
REQUEST FOR BIDS
UNIFORMS FOR PARKS AND RECREATION SPORTS
CITY OF CHELSEA, ALABAMA
Sealed bids will be received until 10:00 a.m. CST on June 11th, 2026 either by mail to the City of Chelsea, ATTN: Crystal Gibson Etheredge, City Clerk, Post Office Box 111, Chelsea, Alabama 35043 or hand delivered to the Office of City Clerk, 11611 Chelsea Road, Chelsea, Alabama 35043, for the Parks and Recreation sports uniforms as described in the bid specifications.
The City of Chelsea reserves the right to waive any formality in any bid, reject any or all bids, and to make any award in any manner consistent with the law deemed in the best interest of the City of Chelsea. The City of Chelsea also reserves the right not to enter any contract as a result of this invitation to bid.
Bids must be received and/or delivered to the City of Chelsea before 10:00 a.m. CST, on June 11th, 2026 at which time they will be publicly opened and read. The envelope of all bids must be marked with the following language on the outside bottom left-hand corner: “Sealed Bid for Parks and Recreation Sports Uniforms”. No bids submitted after the deadline will be accepted for any reason.
Copies of all bid documents are available at the Office of the City Clerk, located at 11611 Chelsea Road, Chelsea, Alabama between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, the City of Chelsea’s website at https://al-chelsea.civicplus.com/Bids.aspx, and by email at cityclerk@cityofchelsea.com.
