NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

In accordance with Section 11 of Act No. 82-693 of the Legislature of Alabama, as amended, the Shelby County Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, July 20, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the 2nd Floor Community Room of the Shelby County Services Building, 1123 County Services Drive, Pelham, AL 35124, for the purpose of taking action on the following case:

V26-002 – Richards Rear-Yard Variance

This is a request from David K. Eyrich, Dave Eyrich & Associates Landscape Architects, on behalf of Daniel A. Richards and Melanie W. Richards, property owners, for approval to reduce the required rear yard setback from 25 feet to 15 feet, for a variance of 10 feet, to allow for the construction of a screened porch addition over an existing patio. The subject property is zoned SD Special District and located at 3308 Woodford Lane in Woodford Residential Subdivision of Inverness. (Parcel ID 58-10-2-10-0-004-006.000)
