TO: All descendants and devisees of Eugene and Bessie Ray (deceased) including Alice Emery Dodd, Cathie Comeau, Cynthia Swain, Tim Ray, Rachel Adams, and their respective heirs and devisees if deceased; and all unknown defendants claiming an interest in the property described herein.

You are hereby notified that on the 7th day of May, 2026, a complaint to declare land described herein a nuisance was filed in the Circuit Court of Shelby County, Alabama, Case No. 58-CV-2026-9000543. Relief sought includes an order ordering defendants to abate the nuisance or if defendants fail, allowing the City to abate the nuisance; to place a lien on the property; to assess costs; and to award attorneys’ fees.

The real property that is the subject of the Complaint (Parcel No. 28 5 21 2 201 026.0000) is located at 1321 Woodbine Avenue, Calera, AL 35040, Shelby County, Alabama, and is described as follows:

Lot 10 in Block 10 according to J.H. Dunstan’s Map of the Town of Calera, Alabama.

By reason of an order for service of summons by publication entered by the Court, you are hereby commanded and required to file with the clerk of the court and to serve upon Plaintiff’s attorney an answer to the complaint by the 28thday of September, 2026, or default judgment will be entered against you.
