NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

In accordance with Section 11 of Act No. 82-693 of the Legislature of Alabama, as amended, the Shelby County Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, August 17, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the 2 nd Floor Community Room of the Shelby County Services Building, 1123 County Services Drive, Pelham, AL 35124, for the purpose of taking action on the following case:

V26-003 – Collins Front & Rear - Yard Variance

This is a request from Charles E. Collins, property owner, for approval to reduce the required front and rear yard setbacks from 40 feet to 30 feet, for a variance of 10 feet, to allow for the construction of a 2,000 square feet single-family residential home. The subject property is zoned A-1 Agricultural District and located at 2370 Highway 32. (Parcel ID 58-16-3-06-0-000-007.010)
