PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Section 11-65-36 (10) of the Code of Alabama of 1975 as amended the Birmingham Racing Commission will distribute four percent (4%) of its net revenues for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025, to fire districts and volunteer fire departments organized and operating in Jefferson and Shelby counties. The Birmingham Racing Commission is currently accepting affidavits from chief executives of such fire departments and fire districts to determine the number of paid memberships of such fire districts and the number of residences and other buildings protected by such volunteer fire departments.
Any such fire district or volunteer fire department may apply to receive a portion of such net revenues by filing an affidavit
with the Birmingham Racing Commission at the above address shown below not later than Friday, November 13, 2026.
